About Virtual Ecology
Do you want to make a difference to this planet?
Do you want to leave this place better than it was when you arrived?
Is it the enormous scale of change required that has daunted you and prevented you from taking real action?
Guess what? The scale of change required by each individual is miniscule and easy to achieve and we are here to show you what steps you can take as well as some of the bigger steps forward thinking people and even large corporations are taking.
Change is coming. Embrace it, go with it and guide it through your life. You will feel incredibly different. You will feel so much more in control.
If you think that repeatedly throwing yourself against a brick wall will change the wall. You will probably discover the hard way that the wall is so fixed that it won’t change …and you will suffer in the process.
That’s a good metaphor for life. If you expect to see a difference in your life by repeatedly throwing yourself at it, you might be worse off than challenging the brick wall.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
…….and that’s just how it is with the common approach to planetary ecology. The planet will change only when you change.
There are very few people who would argue that humans are the biggest threat to this planet and that this species is so dangerous it could easily wipe everything else off the surface of the Earth.
And that is what this website is all about. Making a difference by making changes, however small and insignificant they appear on the surface.
I hope you enjoy reading and I really look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions ….in whatever form they take!
About Me
After a lifetime accumulating a multitude of experiences, I finally have enough material for writing to last me the rest of my life. If not, then I’ll just have to live longer. Bright Green Future is the latest adventure that Lynne and I have embarked upon and it’s not only satisfying to assist others in achieving what they want, but it allows us time to gather a heap more experiences to write about.
Avid student of the unlimited mind, love affairs with mountains & llamas – I aim to grow old with more knowledge & wisdom than I was born with and remain sane enough to enjoy it.
What has this blog got to do with saving the Earth?
Well firstly, I would love to say I saved the Earth, but that’s a stretch for even my imagination. I am doing my small part though and it’s not necessary to wear baggy sweaters and cycle everywhere! Read on to find out how you can improve you life and play your part in saving Earth.
